FORUMS
Hate Crime Forum 1999: Our chapter helped organize a forum to address the possible threat of hate crimes against our diverse minorities population in Fredericksburg. Among others, our panel included a representative from the Stafford County Sheriff's Department, a member of disAbility Network, a young man from the Mary Washington College GLBT community, and a member of the African American community.

Our participation in the Hate Crime forum helped us further understand the needs of our entire community, since fear and hate can effect us all. Together, we should all support everyone who faces discrimination,
no matter their race, religion, creed, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.

An Employers' Forum: For local employers who have or are working on having a non-discrimination hiring policy that includes the words sexual orientation or something equivalent.
